BiBCOM Opens office in Sensor City - Liverpool

Sensor City Innovation Centre
BiBCOM decided to move its office within the modern permises of Sensor City innovation centre, thanks to Dr Joanne Phoenix, who supported BiBCOM, and helped to make connection within the cities ellite partners.

Sensor City is a Liverpool-based technical innovation centre and University Enterprise Zone. They foster the creation, development, production and promotion of cutting edge sensor technologies for use in a wide range of sectors.

This purpose-built technical and business support centre has been designed to meet the needs of emerging and established industry partners. By working collaboratively, and creating a connected sensor community, Sensorcity aims to make Liverpool a global hub for sensor technologies.

On 9th of March 2018, Sensor City was crowned ‘Best Newcomer’ at MMIA 2018 and Dr Joanne Phoenix, Business Development Director of Sensor City, said: “We are delighted to have won this award. Not only does it reflect our early achievements in bringing innovative sensor and IoT approaches to the maritime, logistics and energy sectors, this win is the first step in driving additional awareness of Sensor City and raising our profile further within the wider Mersey Maritime community."
